Tiger prawns are named for their distinctive dark stripes and are prized in Asian, Mediterranean and South African cuisine for their generous size and robust flavour.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eShell-on prawns deliver more flavour than peeled: the shell protects the flesh during cooking and adds depth to sauces and broths. These prawns are large enough to be a centrepiece — grilled on skewers, tossed in garlic butter pasta, curried in coconut milk, or served simply with lemon and aioli.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFor grilled prawns: toss in olive oil, garlic, chilli and salt. Grill shell-on for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and charred. For garlic butter prawns: sear in a hot pan with butter, garlic and white wine for 3–4 minutes.
