Kanonkop Kadette Pinotage Dry Rosé — Bold & Fruity
Kanonkop's Kadette Pinotage Dry Rosé is a unique expression — rosé made from Pinotage, South Africa's signature grape, by one of the country's most respected estates. The result is a bolder, more fruit-forward rosé than typical Provençal styles, with genuine personality and a distinctly South African character.
Deeper salmon-pink in colour with aromas of strawberry, watermelon, red cherry and a hint of the spice and earthiness that makes Pinotage distinctive. The palate is dry but generously fruity, with soft acidity and a clean, refreshing finish. This is rosé with substance — flavourful enough to stand up to food while remaining refreshing and easy-drinking.
Versatile with food: excellent with braai, biltong, sushi, Thai cuisine, charcuterie and salads. The extra body from Pinotage means this rosé can handle bolder flavours than most pink wines. Serve well chilled at 6–8°C.
