Meerlust Cabernet Sauvignon — Classic Stellenbosch
Meerlust's Cabernet Sauvignon is a benchmark of Stellenbosch quality — a single-varietal expression from one of South Africa's oldest and most respected estates. The warm Stellenbosch days and cool False Bay breezes create ideal conditions for Cabernet Sauvignon, producing wines with ripe fruit intensity, firm structure and genuine ageing potential.
Concentrated blackcurrant, cassis and dark cherry with cigar box, cedar and a touch of dark chocolate from judicious oak ageing. The tannins are firm but refined, the acidity is balanced, and the finish is long and persistent. Classic Cabernet with a distinctly South African generosity of fruit.
The quintessential red meat wine: pairs magnificently with dry-aged steak, grilled lamb, beef brisket, braai and mature hard cheeses. Decant for at least 1 hour. Serve at 16–18°C.
Store in a cool, dark place. Cellar-worthy for 10–15 years but approachable now with decanting. Delivered to your door in Hong Kong. Under Hong Kong law, intoxicating liquor must not be sold or supplied to a minor in the course of business.
