This incredible beef boerewors flavoured with clove, coriander & nutmeg and is an explosion of flavour in the mouth. A traditional South African product that is a must-try and becoming a Hong Kong favourite.

Boerewors (boor-uh-vors) – literally means ‘farmers sausage’ in Afrikaans. Boerewors is traditionally cooked on the braai or barbecue but like any good sausage, can be cooked on a grill or in the oven.

Cook and colour on a medium heat, taking care not to overcook or burn the casing (turn regularly).

Remove from the BBQ with a small blushing dot of pink meat in the middle of the wors, and rest until mince is browned through.

Best eaten hot so don’t mess around and wait for your friends to plate up. Serve with fresh rolls and relish or try our chimichurri sauce.
