Cape Point Isliedh Sauvignon Blend — Premium Cape Point
Isliedh is the flagship white from Cape Point Vineyards — one of the most dramatically situated wineries in South Africa, perched above the Atlantic Ocean where the cold Benguela Current moderates the climate. Named after a Scottish Gaelic word meaning "noble," this Sauvignon Blanc-dominant blend is one of the Cape's most prestigious white wines.
Complex and layered with flinty minerality, white peach, lime zest and subtle oak integration from barrel fermentation. The maritime influence gives this wine a distinctive saline quality — a taste of the Atlantic that sets it apart from warmer-climate Sauvignon Blancs. Rich and textured on the palate with driving acidity and a finish that seems to last forever.
A wine for special occasions: pair with premium seafood (lobster, crab, oysters), aged goat cheese or roast chicken with herbs. Decant briefly and serve at 10–12°C. One of a handful of South African white wines that genuinely competes on the world stage.
